For more than 10 years I have been setting goals for the year: I tell you how to do it effectively

My name is Pavel Komarovsky, and I have been engaged in self-development as an alcoholic for over 10 years. This article is about what approach to personal goal setting I developed for myself in the end - I hope it will help you avoid the mistakes that I made in due time.

I completely went through all the stages of the Fall: as a student, I was looking for sacred answers in stacks of self-help waste paper; then he was disappointed and decided that all this "successful success" was a big deal for fools (I am still sure that Napoleon Hill is a schizophrenic); later he rethought everything and came to his own understanding of what self-development with an adequate face can look like.

Everything that is written below is the conclusions that I came to based on my personal experience. I understand that my methods are not suitable for everyone, and I do not pretend to be the ultimate truth. But if at least some ideas seem interesting to you and turn out to be an impetus to try to do something differently in life, I will be glad.

Why set goals

Any self-respecting info-gypsy of tonirobbins spill will definitely drown for the magical power of targets. Scientists have proven that 3% of Yale students with written goals 20 years later turned out to be richer than the remaining 97% combined! (Actually, of  course not .)

Such naive propaganda makes the very idea of setting personal goals seem silly to many. Why can't you just live and do what seems best to you at the moment? Is it really necessary to write β€œI want a million bucks” on a piece of paper and hang it on the refrigerator in order to strive to earn more and do your job well? In my opinion, of course, not necessarily. But this does not mean that setting goals is basically useless.
