North Korean hacker group attacked Israel's defense industry

Israel says the attack was “prevented,” security experts at ClearSky deny these claims and say the attack was successful. Officials fear that classified data stolen by North Korea could be leaked to Iran.

North Korean hackers seem to have learned their lesson and in mid-2019 began using LinkedIn and WhatsApp to connect with a number of military enterprises in the West,  targeting aerospace and defense companies in Europe and the Middle East  . In August  , a UN report  said North Korean hackers used similar methods to track down organization officials and member states.
