Our latest case is a solution to the difficult task of collecting information about the state of metallurgical equipment. This data, without which it is impossible to build a process for monitoring the operation of units, to respond promptly to problems, to plan maintenance and production load ... We use an optical network to collect information from the most critical equipment. This solution has many advantages. It is an excellent transmission medium for scenarios where volumes of transmitted information and guarantees of delivery with minimal delays are important.







However, in reality, this is a rather expensive solution, both in construction and in operation. And because the system must be able to constantly re-equip with new sensors in order to know more accurately about the current state of each unit and unit. And because at an industrial enterprise environmental conditions are difficult, so that networks periodically become unusable: they are cut off as a result of work on equipment, melted by high temperatures, etc.







In general, the cable sometimes has to be re-laid, which entails both financial costs and production risks. After all, the situational center of our equipment condition monitoring service (SMSO), which monitors the condition of the units using stationary monitoring systems and, accordingly, prevents equipment accidents, becomes "blind" during the recovery.
