Artificial intelligence - a new form of life?

Artificial intelligence is just emerging, but its endless possibilities and dangers are already visible.

  • Where artificial intelligence is already being applied.

  • Artificial intelligence - is it achievable in principle?

  • At what stage of development is the science of AI. Does AI have intuition?

  • Thinking is a blind spot in science. How much does a person actually use his intellect?

  • Limitations of the development of robots in the near future. Artificial intelligence - a threat to the future or a child of humanity?

  • Human development: the conservative path, AI and eugenics. Robot versus human.

Where artificial intelligence is already being applied

Where artificial intelligence is already being applied. When we type a word in a search engine on the Internet and click on one of the many suggested links, then we thereby increase the authority of the link that we clicked on and reduce the authority of all other links. Based on this data, the search engine rebuilds the search results so that the most popular options are at the top. The search engine can randomly place a link on the first page for a while to assess its popularity, and if there are no clicks on it, this means that the search engine made a mistake, based on this information it will lower the performance for this link. In this case, we see an example when a computer algorithm learns from its mistakes.automatically suggesting better and better solutions. The search engine and its tuning algorithms are an example of elementary artificial intelligence.

My personal opinion: AI is a child of humanity, and if this child turns out to be smarter than a Human, his parent, then there is no absolute tragedy in this. Perhaps this is just the normal development of our civilization. AI can live much longer than Man and, for example, visit other stars, travel huge distances for hundreds and thousands of years. Now Humanity does not even think about such travels precisely because of the limited time of human life ..
