Three projects from the Runet Prize that will help you spend your time with interest

The other day the awarding of the "Prize" took place, and today news about it was published on Habré. True, the news is a little official, without much mentioning of the interesting projects that were awarded. The nominees are indicated - but who, what and why is not said. Personally, I liked three projects, which, in my opinion, received their award deservedly. I took only those of them that can brighten up waiting for a pandemic.

About them - under the cut.

My Big Love - everything about wine

The most unexpected nominee for me personally was a wine project called My Big Love. By the way, he won in the "Health and Rest" nomination.

This is an online wine showcase, which the developers call a winetech project. I wonder if there is more from this industry? Except, of course, the Vivino application - I have known about it for a long time and have been using it since its inception. It would be nice if the Winetech industry was actively developing.

Each bottle of wine here has a unique QR code that allows you to quickly access information about the contents. The description includes elements such as organoleptic properties, the history of the manufacturer, and a detailed description of the wine itself. Plus there are ratings, the data for the assessment is pulled here from the Vivino service.

An interesting point in all this is the presence of a history of drunk wine. My Big Love shows you what you drank and when. The assortment still includes about 600 items, after some time the developers promise to increase this number to 5000.

There is also an offline site where the wine mentioned in the application can be seen and tasted live. It is the history of these tastings that the application saves later - so that you can later look at what you tried and what you didn't. The wine list is issued here on an iPad, which is then disinfected, because the coronavirus has not gone anywhere yet.

Gameology

This is one of the most famous board game sites on the Russian Internet. It includes a database of games, gaming companies, news and events related to board games. I liked the project because there are a million different resources devoted to online games, but much fewer sites are devoted to board games.

There is also an option for gadget lovers - the project offers to evaluate a digital platform for board games with support for major platforms, including PC, iOS and Android.

And the project team does not only strive to make money - they have a resource that contains a large collection of free games, for which you only need a printer, paper, pen and sometimes cubes.

Plus, the project also produces its own board games. The portfolio contains about 40 different games, some of which are very popular. This is Pig and Danetki. Vasya Lozhkin drew illustrations for Svintus, it is immediately evident.

Island

Well, after we drank wine and played board games, it's time to go somewhere, where it is open during quarantine. The Ostrovok.ru service, one of the most popular domestic services for finding and booking hotels in the Russian Federation and other countries of the world, can help in this.

The company celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, so it deservedly received its award. During its existence, it has concluded a large number of contracts. Now the Ostrovka database contains more than 130 thousand objects, and the base is constantly growing.

The service concludes direct contracts with hotels, so that the cost is indicated without commissions. Often the booking price is the same as on the hotel website or even lower.

These are the three projects I liked. There are other companies on the list of nominees, but the ones I liked the most are those that help endure the hardships of being in quarantine.
