A simple process description, created with the help of process participants, can be extremely useful, but if the description is confusing and difficult to understand, try rewriting it.





How we were once taught to cross the road

When I was a young child, we were taught to cross the road by giving these instructions:

And we hummed these words whenever it was necessary to cross the road. Of course, due to our young age, we did not understand the real danger, but like many others, I thought that repeating these magic words helped me to protect myself from these nasty cars. Now I'm not sure if I realized then that I was being pushed to be careful and to hear, in order to notice cars that are not visible to the eye. What should I have done if I had determined? Hide from them? Cross the road very quickly? All I knew was that in order to cross the road, I had to repeat the right words.
