Many people, when they first hear the term Data Science , usually think of machine learning first.

So it was with me. My interest in data science arose because I first encountered the idea of ​​"machine learning", which I found really cool. So when I started looking for a place to start learning about data science, it's not hard to guess where I started from. (Hint: it rhymes with bean churning .)

This was my biggest mistake that led me to this thought:

If you want to learn data science, don't start with machine learning.

Just understand. Obviously, to become a "full-fledged" data scientist, someday you have to learn about the concepts of machine learning. But you will be surprised how far you can get without it.
