Projects in a Controlled Environment or PRINCE2 Summary

In the era of product development with the constant use of flexible methodologies and "imposing" them everywhere (sometimes even out of place), I would like to remind you of one of the classic project management methodologies. The issue of classical methodologies is still relevant for contractual relations between the Customer and the Executor and projects with a cascade form of management.

The PRINCE2 standard mentioned in the title of the article is also relevant for projects with agile methodologies, since Agile methods very clearly and structured tell how to develop a product correctly (and manage the product development process), but how exactly to manage project activities (and this is how known, not only one process of production of a product) flexible methodologies do not always cover and not completely.

Due to its publicity, PMBOK has always been more in demand and popular, at the same time very overloaded by process groups (for example, for IT projects). For many project managers, the use of the PRINCE2 project methodology in comparison with PMBOK (due to the conciseness and structure of the former) allows them to more elegantly manage projects of different sizes and structures.
