One can argue for a long time about the expediency of such a device, but I will share our experience with the team. Firstly, the presence of such a device has shown its effectiveness - when the lamp rotates and beeps, notifying of a problem on sale, it is much more effective than any monitor on the wall. Secondly, the very fact of having such a device in the office is simply amusing.
