Hello everyone, Lisa, a UX writer, and Stasya, a UX analyst at the Center for the Development of Financial Technologies of the Russian Agricultural Bank, are in touch.
Closer to the release of our sites, disputes about texts became more and more often heard in product teams. It all started with the "404" screen - some thought that in the error message it was necessary to joke in order to relax the user, while others thought that joking with a person annoyed by the error was not correct. The joke lovers won the fight, but the next question arose: is humor acceptable in our ecosystem? After all, we are a serious organization, a bank. If humor is acceptable, how playful is it? We didn't have a clear answer to these questions.
In a short time, we have accumulated a decent list of questions and problems concerning the texts. We realized that even if we closed our eyes, the list would not disappear, and began to think about how we could help ourselves write original texts, and the teams no longer waste time arguing.
