We have an annual tradition: to tell Habr's readers about the development of a new device with Alice. 2020, of course, ruined many plans, but this tradition was preserved.
Today at YaC 2020 we showed our new column - Yandex.Station Max. This is not a replacement for the Station or Mini Station, but a new, older model in the Yandex smart speaker family. In it, we not only supported more hardware-demanding features, but also deliberately refused some compromises. As a result, the device, which at the stage of the idea was supposed to differ from the Station in only a few elements, turned out to be unlike it in about everything except its appearance.
