Very briefly about my first experience of use (no benchmarks).
Immediately after the online presentation, where Apple presented their new products on their own chip, I went to the site and, choosing between the MacBook Pro and Mac Mini, settled on the second. Since I didn't see much point in taking another firmware during our "work from home" time, plus the 13-inch screen seemed small to me, and the only feature for which I would prefer the MacBook was the trackpad. Therefore, the presence of the Magic Mouse lying on the bottom shelf in the closet dispelled all doubts. The choice fell on a Mac Mini with 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD.
Let's start with the fact that they promised to deliver the order on November 24-27, but they brought it on 17. He walked to me from China and arrived successfully. Minimalistic packaging, a minimum of paperwork and a power cable - in general, everything is as it should be.

As a result, I liked using the device. I understand that there will be many difficulties along the way, but I can confidently say that I am satisfied with the purchase and will try to transfer all my development from my Linux PC to the new Mac mini.
