Why waste money on lawyers?
The experience of communication and cooperation with various start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs shows that most often they do not attach due importance to the legal registration and support of their business.
No one is particularly keen to pay good money to professional lawyers until some challenge arises: a claim comes from the tax authorities, business partners will quarrel and the project is on the verge of a foul. Up to this point, startups either do nothing at all and conduct all business informally, or google templates of documents, at most, they hire an outsourced lawyer through their friends.
Let's figure out why this is happening?
Maybe it will ride. Our people don't think about risks. Rather, they think, but believe that they will be carried over and business partners will not quarrel, employees will not go to Yandex with their developments, and suppliers will always comply with deadlines. And if so, then why go to lawyers? Alas, over-optimism and savings on good lawyers most often leads to fucking.

Therefore, from the paradigm lawyer = firefighter, it is necessary to move to another paradigm of perception of the legal profession: lawyer = strategic partner .
My words are based on my experience and the experience of my colleagues, as well as on my reflections on this topic.
But I'm very curious to know what you, the startups and the IT industry, think? What is your experience with lawyers and do you think you need us?
I would also like to know the opinion and experience of my fellow lawyers, do you agree with me and what are your thoughts?
Let's talk!
