Half an hour ago, we launched the Mobile Challenge Wallet - a competition for iOS and Android developers, in which you can solve a real application case and earn from 100 to 250 thousand rubles. We will also invite the best participants to the team to launch our service together in European markets in 2021.
We, Cardsmobile, the developer of the Wallet application , have launched the Mobile Challenge Wallet mobile developer contest, which will run from November 2 to December 15. Applications are accepted until December 4, the evaluation of works by the jury members - from December 5 to 14, and the announcement of the winners will take place on December 15.
The task, conditions and full regulations are published on the competition website . Participants will have to reimagine the main screen of the application and the screen with card details - and try to convey the feeling of a physical wallet in the application.
Closer to the middle of the competition, we will make a post with a review of the submitted works, telling about the most interesting options for solving the problem. Then you will have two more weeks to jump into the last car of the competition, and on December 15, we will announce the names of three winners for each platform, who will share the prize money among themselves. For both iOS and Android, it will be distributed as follows:
1st place - 250,000 rubles
2nd place - 150,000 rubles
3rd place - 100,000 rubles
We will be happy to invite the best to the team: next year we are launching the application in several European markets, it will be great to do it together. We are young, but already well known; we know how to do what no one has done before us and are not afraid to take risks. Join us! It is also possible to unite in teams to solve problems, but remember that in this case the prize will have to be divided among everyone.
To find a team, exchange experience and so that you have the opportunity to ask a question to the jury members, we launched a telegram chat . There we will also cover the current home screen and provide a couple of tips and tricks for participants.
The task evaluation criteria are simple: code cleanliness and extensibility, interface speed and responsiveness, work stability and the percentage of supported OS and device versions. Of course, the originality of the idea will play a role. The main jury consisted of Nikolai Ashanin, head of client development, Konstantin Stepanenko, head of the product line, Andrey Busik, head of Android development, and Philip Shubin, chief operating officer. IOS and Android development leads, product managers and analysts, that is, most of the technical team, will help with the analysis of tasks.
But that's not all! The competition is supported by our friends from the educational portal GeekBrains... The guys will give each participant a 45% discount on programming courses (the promotional code will be sent to your mail after sending the assignment), and the winners will receive any course of their choice. Tempting? Perhaps.
PS Well, in order to get to know each other better and share news, we also launched the team's social networks. We will show you what is happening in our office in the heart of the Petrograd side and who is working on the product. Instagram is here , Vkontakte is here , and yes, even Facebook . A classic view of the St. Petersburg rooftops and an overview of the office kicker are included.
We will write off!
And good luck!
