October is the month of the United States. Russia and China by two. Nobody else.
Results of October. Number of starts - 9. No accidents.
USA. Five launches. Three Starlink launches (finally), ISS cargo ship Cygnus NG-14, shallow racket from Rocket Lab.
Russia. Two launches. Manned Soyuz MS-17 with a regular expedition to the ISS and a new GLONASS satellite.
China. Two launches. Earth remote observation satellites.
Europe, India, Iran ... did not launch anything.
Throughout the year, we observe a conditional competition between the United States and China in the number of launches. The two countries are on a par in terms of the number of launches and accidents. There is no clear leader.
