Hello! My vacation gave me some ease of thought, and I wanted to write a simple and a little funny article in which I could explain various terms from the world of IT architecture using ordinary examples from my life.
As I was planning my vacation this summer, I accidentally caught myself thinking that I was using techniques and approaches that are characteristic of architectural thinking. It turns out, without noticing it myself, I used architectural thinking where initially it should not have been - when planning a bike trip. And since this bike trip was successful, which I will describe in detail below, it seemed to me that this skill could be useful to everyone in everyday life.
Another motivation for creating an article is the fact that now there is no single generally accepted definition of the term "architectural thinking", so it is much easier to describe it using an example than to give a bunch of links to different sources. And finally, when your personal hobby and work are so harmoniously combined, it's worth sharing!

What I would like to say at the end as a conclusion: cycling is cool! If I managed to inspire at least a couple of people to plot my route and go on a bike trip, then the article was not written in vain. And let's remember that architectural thinking is a useful thing not only when designing IT solutions, but also in solving common problems in life.
