Windows Terminal Preview 1.4: Jump List, Blink and Hyperlink support

We are back with another Windows Terminal Preview update , which will appear in Windows Terminal in October . Both Windows Terminal builds can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store or the release page on GitHub .

Jump List



Now you can launch Windows Terminal Preview with a specific profile from the Start menu or from the taskbar!

Note: to display icons in the list of transitions, you need to specify the path to them in settings.json.



Hyperlink support



We've added hyperlink support for inline hyperlinks . These links will appear underlined and can be opened by clicking on them while holding down Ctrl . We also plan to soon add support for automatic detection of all links in the text.

Blink support



Windows Terminal has added support for SGR 5 (Thank you @ j4james! ) So you can now have fun blinking text inside Terminal.
