Hello, Habr. Despite the quarantine, many different IT events are being held this fall. One of them is a free intensive program in algorithmic programming within the framework of the second all-Russian educational festival RuCode. The festival began on 31 August and will end on 4 October.
It was organized by MIPT in cooperation with several leading universities and public organizations from 15 regions of Russia. As far as you can tell, it will be interesting.
The terms of participation
Who can participate: RuCode online intensive courses are available to everyone, regardless of age and region of residence.
When it all starts: The online selection starts on September 19th and lasts until September 21st. You can register here . The next step is to fill out a questionnaire in your personal account.
Everyone who qualifies will be invited to a free online intensive, as mentioned above, plus the festival finale on October 4. Participants who have passed the selection will receive a special mailing list in which everything will be told.
To make it more convenient for the participants, they will be divided into two groups, D and C. Intensives will be held for 4 time zones: the Far East, Siberia, Ural, Central Russia.
Terms: duration of the intensive - 5 days. The intensive includes both lectures lasting 10 hours and practical lessons lasting 15 hours.
As part of the intensive, participants will study:
- Computational geometry.
- Dynamic programming.
- Number theory.
- Features of working with algorithms.
What else? In addition, an intensive course is being held right now from Sberbank, a partner of the event. The intensive is dedicated to artificial intelligence. More than 1000 selected people take part in it. Participants develop an algorithm that can distinguish fake news from real news.
The 10 finalists of this intensive will be able to present their projects on October 3. The presentation of projects will be broadcasted on the RuCode YouTube channel .
And one more bonus is a special assignment developed together with Gazprombank. Its essence is the development of an algorithm for consistent anonymization of data to comply with the law on the protection of personal data. The winners will be determined separately.
