Overview of BPM systems present in the Kazakhstan market

Introduction

A couple of years ago, on duty, I did a review of electronic document management systems, which you can find here . Recently I was given a new task - the choice of a BPM (business process management) system. This class of systems is intended for modeling and executing business processes, which have recently approached the must have status. This status is confirmed by the widespread implementation of BPM systems in large banks in Kazakhstan and Russia, industrial organizations and government agencies, not to mention the actual popularity of BPM in the West.

The purpose of implementing a BPM system in our company is to automate the processes:

1. Personnel Management
2. Sales management
3. Procurement management
4. Product release management.

A potential solution must contain the functionality of each of these areas, be configurable so that it can be adapted to our needs.

Why was the choice made in favor of BPM? A number of factors played a role here. Firstly, BPM systems can replace systems of the ERP, CRM and ECM class, but unlike them, BPM is not tied to a rigid model and concept of these systems and is more flexible to adapt to any organization structure. BPM allows you to automate unique processes that exist only in your company.
