The investments will help to solve the problem with the lack of functionality in the domestic software stack, which is necessary for solving the problems of a number of corporate and state enterprises. The company intends to build a complete technical stack that would cover the needs of customers in all narrow segments.". The Kommersant website also contains an addendum about the context of such a decision: 1) sales of Astra Linux products more than doubled last year, in the first half of this year the growth was more than doubled; 2) Astra Linux is one of the largest suppliers of security forces (I already wrote about a large-scale purchase of 31,000 licenses in the first issue of FOSS News - vk.com/@permlug-foss-news-0 ).

Android 11 mobile platform release

Microsoft adds the ability to mount drives to WSL2
OpenNET writes: “ Microsoft has announced an enhancement to the WSL2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux) functionality that allows Linux executable files to run on Windows. Starting with Windows Insiders build 20211, WSL2 added support for mounting file systems from physical disks. For mounting, the command "wsl --mount" is offered, with which, among other things, you can mount a partition with a FS that does not have built-in Windows support in the WSL, for example, you can access a partition with an ext4 FS. This feature can be used to organize work with the same Linux partition if there are several operating systems on the computer (Windows and Linux)". I don’t know how anyone, but for me this is a good reason to worry about additional security of the GNU / Linux system if I’m going to use Dual Boot.
