I will show from the point of view of an active user, but I will also tell you a lot about the technical side of the solution.

We decided to create our own ERP system in order to see what the team's resources are spent on and to manage them effectively. We assembled a working group, estimated the volume of work of our team at 200 hours. Provided that 4-5 people work on a high-priority project, this is 1, okay, 2 months before a completely finished system.

We started doing it.

As a result, the project lasted for a year. I was indignant at why it was so ineffective, the top management wondered why it took so long, the project manager was exhausted, because he did not expect it to be so difficult.
