Google Corporation has published the release of the mobile OS Android 11. The source code of the operating system is located in the project's Git repository (branch android-11.0.0_r1).
The main emphasis in the new version of the operating system is made on simplifying the work with various messengers, managing smart devices and improving user privacy.

- An incremental APK installation mode ("adb install --incremental") has been added to the ADB (Android Debug Bridge) utility, which allows you to significantly speed up the installation of large programs, such as games, during their development.
- The developers completely redesigned the debug mode with the launch of ADB over a wireless connection. So, debugging via WiFi no longer requires connecting a cable, plus the previously made device pairings are remembered.
- Added Ethernet tethering mode, which provides access to the Internet through a smartphone using a USB port of Ethernet adapters.
The OS will first be updated on smartphones from Google, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Realme and Oppo. The rest will receive updates in the coming months.
