Once we received an order from the Aqua Lung company, which we could not reach. Everything that our designer came up with related to the already erased cliches. Aqua Lung manufactures diving equipment. The idea immediately came to mind to make a logo in the form of a shark or other fish, but we wanted to look at all this from the other side. By the way, the customer went to meet us and gave a clear instruction to create something unique. We set up an experiment on crossing a neural network and a human, and it was successful!
What is important when creating a logo?
The process of creating a logo has a clear sequence: we are contacted, we discuss the features of the brand, its target audience, and also clarify the preferred color scheme and style. After a week of brainstorming, our group of designers presents the results of the first versions of the logo, they are discussed and by the middle of the month the finished product is already released.
An important component when creating a logo is its foundation, around which the main creative idea is built. Let's take a non-existent company "KotoVasia" as an example. Different images of cats that we have met in life, books or films immediately appear in my head. Move the cat icon to the work area, expand it, stretch it a little, apply a few effects and, voila, we get the first starting point. But what happens if we make our brains work differently? Of course, we do not want to use opium before creating another masterpiece, as Lewis Carroll did. Therefore, we began to think about creating a neural network that could generate this image. If we had such a tool at hand, then we could provide the customer with a lot of options to choose from.A neural network based on the entire distribution of data can produce something very creative and funny, which a common person cannot even imagine.

This whole process seemed quite interesting to us and now I would like to share with you further ideas on the use of this technology. Although this model was originally created for logos, it can be applied in many other ways. For example, it can be used to inspire tattoo artists, create potentially new sneaker designs, or generate illustrations for instagram stories.
