But here's the paradox - it's also difficult to work in complete silence , especially if you've been to the office for a long time. We will help you cope with the problem using three resources. They allow you to take advantage of one of the most interesting phenomena of office spaces and coworking spaces without having to visit them directly - turning on the background noise of open spaces - with the sounds of a printer, a coffee machine, and all this.

The Sound of Colleagues
This is a project by the Swedish advertising agency Familjen STHLM and the sound design company Red Pipe Studios. They developed it in quarantine in their spare time (which was a lot due to the small number of orders).
The resource is a one-page site with several sliders for audio control. With their help, you can "turn on" the hubbub of colleagues, phone ringing and clattering of keyboards. There is also the noise of the rain outside the window and the barking of a dog, for some reason, living in the office.

Audio recordings from The Sound of Colleagues can also be found on Spotify and added to your playlist.
Calm Office
An office noise generator by Stéphane Pigeon, Research Engineer from Belgium. According to his words , he has developed an application for yourself to quickly "to enter into a state of flux." He posted the project on the network solely for the sake of a joke, but since April his page has gained more than 200 thousand views.
Calm Office can reproduce the sounds of copiers, printers, scanners, air conditioners and other office equipment. Among the audio recordings are the voices of colleagues, the creak of pens on paper and the ticking of a clock. All this can be mixed with each other in any proportion.
The site also offers several preset sound combinations (you can select them on the right side of the screen in the Presets section). One of them is called " Geeks at Work " - this is the clatter of keyboards against the background of the noise of an air conditioner, nothing more.
Note that Calm Office has an iOS application , so those who wish can take the office atmosphere with them.
I miss the office
The site was presented by the German creative agency Kids Creative Agency. The page schematically depicts a working room, through which geometric colleagues walk. To immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the office, just click on the Play button in the lower left corner. You will immediately hear an indistinct hubbub, the rustle of the fan and the clatter of keyboards.

Background noise can be diluted with the sounds of a copier or cooler, as well as the stomping of employees and even chomping - just click on objects on the page. In the lower right corner of the screen, you can change the number of colleagues around: from 0 to 10.
PS Thematic ASMR selections on YouTube will also help you immerse yourself in the open-space atmosphere . There are many videos with office ambient presented on the site .
