Axiomtek launches passively cooled Intel Atom industrial PC





Axiomtek recently introduced the eBOX626-311-FL Embedded Industrial PC. It is based on a quad-core Intel Atom x5-E3940 processor. The cooling system is passive.



Designed for industrial environments, this PC can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 ยฐ C to + 60 ยฐ C, vibration and other harsh environments. System protection degree - IP40.

The developers have also added TPM 1.2 support for information security. According to the company that created this PC, it is perfect for work in industrial controllers, robotic control systems, smart gateways, information kiosks. It can also be used in visual control and data visualization tools.



In terms of system specifications, the eBOX626-311-FL has one socket for the DDR3L-1866 SO-DIMM memory module. The maximum size is 8 GB.



If required, you can install a 2.5-inch SATA drive as well as an mSATA drive. In addition, the eBOX626-311-FL board contains two connectors for a wireless module, as well as a slot for a SIM card. PC equipment includes two RS-232/422/485 ports, one RS-232 port, four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, VGA and HDMI outputs, four antenna connectors.

Since this is an industrial system, it has been provided with protection against power outages lasting up to 11ms. Plus there is the ability to quickly switch from one power source to another. Supports constant voltage sources 9-36V, there is protection against too low or, conversely, high voltage and short circuit. The system is designed to work with Windows 10 IoT or Linux.



It will be possible to buy an industrial PC already in September. However, the price has not yet been indicated.
