Open Demo Day at Raiffeisenbank: projects, features and a little magic

We have a tradition at the bank: every month at Demo Day we watch IT and DGTL solutions developed by our teams. We love this project very much, because it is always about cool cases - about complex integrations and bold hypotheses, a new release on sale and useful feedback. It's also about people! About those who make our bank better every day, and about "what a cool functionality you sip, well!" in line for coffee. Yes, this is not enough now, but we remain online, and also go outside the bank.



We continue another tradition - to invite you to the open Demo Day of Raiffeisenbank , where you can say "wow!" new features and ask questions to teams.







Have you been with us last year? Then we met (in person!) In a beautiful tent next to the office in Nagatino . Now we are happy to push the boundaries and meet everyone online, this will be on August 20th .



What is Demo Day? Why is it needed? And how do you organize it?

The most important thing to know about Demo Day:

> no presentations, we watch all solutions live . Therefore, we are sincerely happy when the authorization code arrives quickly, or we give the bot a second chance to recognize our request.

> showing the most important thing: 8-10 teams and 15 minutes for a demo for each.

> we speak in simple language: we always think about the audience, because there are a lot of us - from different teams, processes and business areas.

team About the team: we are responsible for the development of the chat channel - on the website, in instant messengers and in the online bank. We also develop automation tools so that communication for our clients is available both in text and in voice. Chats, bots and voice assistants are all for us!


What we will show at Demo Day: Introducing the MVP of the voice bot. We see great potential in him; in the future, he may become a full-fledged colleague of contact center specialists. We developed the bot platform and Data Science model internally. Now we want to share our results and get comments - this is very valuable. For example, from recent stories: thanks to user feedback, we changed the mechanics of collecting marks in the new application. Now their number has grown by 10%.

About the team: we are promoting the Leasing product in digital sales channels. The main platform is a website that we make convenient and beautiful for our clients.


What we'll show at Demo Day: Introducing a new section on subsidies. It aims to promote and inform clients about subsidy programs. In the same section, we made “product cards”: we talked about leased items that can be purchased with subsidies from the Ministry of Industry and Trade. And the demo will be very aesthetically pleasing: we prepared a video story about the digitalization of the entire leasing process.

team About the team: we are developing online accounting for small businesses, where entrepreneurs calculate and pay taxes. Our team has emerged largely thanks to customer feedback: about a year ago, we launched MVP, a tax calculator. Clients started to actively use it and wanted a separate service. Now we are automating all processes for them.


What we will show at Demo Day : issuing a qualified signature and sending a document to the Federal Tax Service via a mobile application on Android. All entrepreneurs must submit reports, and it was important for us that our clients could do this without leaving home. This function is available not only in Internet Banking, but also in the mobile application.

team About the team: we are developing digital solutions for mobile bank clients. We create a user-friendly interface, ensure the stability of the application and constantly focus on the product's values ​​for users.


What we will show at Demo Day: we have prepared a cool functionality - applying for bank products for new customers who do not yet have authorization data. We noticed that often users install the Raiffeisenbank application, not being its customers, but want to design our product. For them, we have created the possibility of submitting an application from the unauthorized zone of the mobile bank. This helped us to rethink our focus: in addition to attracting current customers, our mobile bank is becoming a good platform for attracting new ones.

team About the team: our product is an Internet bank for small businesses. We come up with the best digital solutions and help our clients focus on their business.


What we will show at Demo Day: we conducted an experiment and want to share the results. There was a hypothesis: customers visit the Internet bank more often if they can track receipts and withdrawals from accounts in a convenient way. This is how a new management accounting widget appeared, and with it valuable feedback from users and future improvements, for example, adding your own categories.

team About the team: we create digital services for entrepreneurs and help them develop their business in cities where we do not have branches. All processes are built remotely, so our clients do not need face-to-face contact to receive good service.


What we will show at Demo Day: our latest development is an online service for quickly obtaining any information and statements online. Now everywhere you can order a certificate remotely and get it there, but for our team it is very important how exactly this happens. Therefore, we have developed a simple and intuitive interface - it is organized according to the principle of an online shopping cart. The new solution will improve customer experience and save human resources. And we'll show you this service in action.

team About the team: we are engaged in the development of credit products through remote channels in cities where Raiffeisenbank branches are not represented. Our clients can apply for a consumer loan or get a credit card online - quickly and effortlessly.


What we will show at Demo Day:auto-completion of the "loan application" form, which became possible due to the integration with the Unified identification and authentication system. Now, borrowers authorized in the State Services do not need to enter their data in the form - we do it for them. We will also show the process of obtaining a loan without calling the information center: clients themselves choose the offer they like, appoint a convenient place and time to meet with the courier (it is often difficult for borrowers to perceive complex information about loan conditions by ear).

team About the team: we are developing one of the youngest products on the corporate services market - factoring. We are working on a pleasant interface and trying to transfer all processes to digital as much as possible.


What we will show at Demo Day: together we will walk the client's path - from entering the factoring office to auto-financing. We have integrated internal systems with Kontur.Factoring, and now all shipping documents are pulled up within one site. This refinement allows our clients to finance even easier and more convenient.

team About the team: we will tell you clearly, imagine you are an entrepreneur. You need to send the order faster, but the payment does not go through the bank, you will have to go to the branch. Or - you are renting a new building and you need to withdraw cash to pay the builders. We'll have to go to the department again. Our team translates all these processes into digital.


What we will show at Demo Day:a convenient customer profile in the Internet bank, through which you can make changes - a new phone number, address or data on the increase in the authorized capital. The client does not need to come to the branch and meet with the bank representatives. We also asked our users questions: why do they come to the branches and not use the Internet bank? It turned out that many simply do not know that they can do the same operations online. For new clients, we highlight the section with a short list of the most popular functions and display a warning in advance about the need to renew the signatory's powers.
