July 2020 became the record-breaking month. 14 launches from five countries. Two accidents.

The number of launches has doubled since June. As many as fourteen, including the most anticipated launches of the year. The space industry has adapted to deal with the pandemic. China, USA, Russia. Three leaders by year and month.
■ China. Six launches. Remote sensing satellites, technological and for reconnaissance. Geostationary communication satellite. And the first "Martian" launch for China - a heavy AMS to Mars was successfully launched. Accident during the launch of a new carrier rocket from a private company .
■ USA. Four launches. Successful launch of the "Martian" mission - the next (fifth) rover. First commercial satellite of the year for SpaceX (Korean reconnaissance aircraft). Military satellite on Minotaur IV (flies every few years). Small rocket crash from Rocket Lab.
■ Russia. Two launches. ISS supply cargo vehicle - Progress MS-15. Two geostationary communication satellites on the Proton LV.

Europe, India, Iran, and others ... did not launch anything ... for them, the exit from quarantine was delayed.
This rate of launches (12-15 per month) was predicted in the 1919 forecasts. But the ambitious plans for the 20th year will no longer be fully implemented.
