118 training lessons for designers. How it was

Agree that spring 2020 was a pretty interesting time. In March, most of the engineering world remained at home in self-isolation. While everyone was going through the denial-fear-anger-acceptance stage, we at Nanosoft thought about what we can do for our users . And then they assembled a team of our products, conducted a brainstorming session and launched an Online Engineering School in just a week. We were the first to react.







Used resources for the benefit of society



First, we took the flagship products of Nanosoft. Our school held two lessons a day. A week later, seeing the great interest of the audience, we connected all the other products of the Nanosoft portfolio. The number of courses has tripled, and the number of daily online lectures has increased to four. We have provided training for the entire line of nanoCAD, Solid Edge, ARCHICAD, PADS Professional, Femap, Model Studio CS, CADLib, Spotlight, PlanTracer Pro. At the end of the nanoCAD courses, students received certificates of participants.



Master classes at a high level



The courses were based on test drives, according to which our technicians successfully conduct training in companies, as well as in authorized training centers. Soon they were supplemented with author's courses for direction managers. For example, Denis Ozhigin, Technical Director of Nanosoft, developed a series of lessons on the basis of a design model , devoted to modeling, specification, documentation and collaboration in a single complex nanoCAD Design BIM + CADLib. Denis Ozhigin and BIM Manager Vitalina Balashenkova showed open information modeling in real timein conjunction "architect - designer": demonstrate communication between adjacent experts through cloud storage, joint BIM-model adjustment to customer requirements, etc. Alexey heptyl, project manager nanoCAD Engineering, made a series of 40-minute lessons on the basic tools. 2D- and 3D modeling in nanoCAD.







Webinars on nanoCAD Electro and nanoCAD OPS became the leaders of views on YouTube. These are lectures by project managers Dmitry Shchurov β€œnanoCAD Electro. Electrical calculations. By the way, recently the authoritative portal of designers RUBEZH conducted an interesting survey β€œ What do you design in?". According to the portal's rating, the third place among the most popular programs is occupied by a specialized solution for the design of low-current nanoCAD OPS systems.







In parallel with the launch of the school, we decided to support the business and simplify the ability to work from home by providing our existing clients with nanoCAD licenses for remote work free of charge. And all new users could download a fully functional evaluation version for a month. Later, upon request, we extended the validity of the appraisal license until the end of self-isolation.
