It took the form of a monthly endless drawing of a video surveillance kit from HikVision. Naturally, it is better to do good deeds on an ongoing basis, so we decided to do it every month , within a rather unusual format, which we called the “monthly endless draw”.

DVR functionality
You can familiarize yourself with all the capabilities of the DVR in the user manual . Below I will list some of the most requested functions from my point of view.
Motion detection The
classic functionality of modern video surveillance, which is mainly used to create a video archive. Since if nothing happens in the frame, there is no point in taking up space on your hard disk.
In addition, movement can be an alarming signal. For example, if the cameras are installed inside the house, and no one should be at home, but there is movement, this is an excuse to connect and see what is happening in general.
Crossing the line
This function is used to detect objects that have crossed the virtual line you set in the camera frame. Most often, this functionality is used to detect the intersection of a virtual line by people or vehicles.
For example the camera is directed along the fence, also draw a line along the fence. If someone crosses it, then this detector will work and you can receive a notification by e-mail, for example.
Alarm notifications
The DVR provides several types of alarm notifications. For example, sound is when the DVR itself emits a low sound signal, or the image from the camera that has detected an alarm event is displayed on the full screen.
But the most interesting thing is, of course, e-mail notifications and push-ups with notification to the smartphone app.
