Intel Xe - photo session from Raja Koduri

Since the announcement of a fundamentally new line of discrete graphics chips in late 2018 , the Intel Xe family has been overgrown with an incredible amount of rumors, fakes and speculation. As you know, Intel does not publish neither the one nor the other, nor the third blog, but we, of course, are also interested in what will come of it and we are following the topic. Not so long ago, Raja Koduri, senior vice president of Intel, published several photos from the laboratory where new video chips are being tested. The photos seemed interesting to us, and we decided to publish them by arranging a summer branch of Instagram - with a minimum of text. There really is something to be surprised at.







At KDPV, Raja (recall, it is he who is responsible for the new graphics line at Intel) holds in his hands what he called BFP - Big Fabulous Package (big amazing chip). We have yet to be convinced of the amazing qualities of this product, but in terms of size, you can't argue with that.

The family will include both graphics cards and accelerators for various specific workloads. It remains only to wait for the official announcements - judging by the news and photos, they are just around the corner.
