Hello, Habr! While the seals are basking in the sun outside the window, the summer flies by, the coronavirus fades away (or not?), We have been working remotely as a content studio for the fourth month. All the jokes are laughed off, all stages of stress have been passed, and work with tears and blood is adapted to the distributed mode. 



We understand that everyone has such a situation, so we decided to look at the problems of remote control from different angles and show that both freelancers and large companies face difficulties - and all more or less successfully overcome them. To do this, we decided to listen to the members of the habrasosocial and, together with our partner on the Internet broadcast SBTG.RU, organized a series of video castes that will start tomorrow. 





What we have planned: to look at the remote location from different sides



In our own skin, we realized that working remotely is a complex and versatile process and it goes on for everyone in their own way. Someone completely changed the workflow, while others did not notice anything. Someone worked three times as much, while someone reviewed all the new Netflix releases and participated in all online flash mobs.



To cheer up those Habr readers who have problems with their heads, we decided to arrange a series of webcasts, highlight remote work from different angles and show that everyone had problems and everyone somehow coped with it. To do this, we talked with our friends from the habrasocommunity and colleagues from IT companies, chose the most daring of them and planned four issues:

Everyone remembers that funny period when collections of life hacks, tips and examples were poured from everywhere. Yeah, I got the impression that quickly moving to a remote location is easy and fun. Well, really, what could be wrong: everything is the same, only you work from home, drink your favorite coffee, communicate with happy children and pet your beloved cat? B ### b, everyone!



As the next three months showed, there could be many of these โ€œnot soโ€, and they crawled out of nowhere. And because of the numerous success stories, it seemed that only we had problems, and we were such capybaras that could not cope with trifles. But since the time of Freud, there has been a belief that difficulties can be overcome by speaking them out. 



Therefore, we will speak again. But within the framework of the concept: in our virtual studio we will confront people from different worlds (freelance - large companies, development - HR, etc.) and offer to tell what unsolved problems they encountered, what prejudices they have in relation to opponents ... We will listen to both sides, see what unites them, and laugh at the myths. 



Where do we start: freelance vs corporation



In the first issue, we decided to see how experienced freelancers and those who work for a large company coped with the transition to remote work (I wonder how much they have in common and what they think of each other). To do this, we will listen to Kirill Kulikov ( @grokru ), who has been freelancing since 2003 and managed to live in 15 countries, and Vladimir Troyanovsky, IT Director of Plat.form World (NSPK) .



We will try to dispel several myths, for example, whether freelancers really did not feel the transition to remote work, and large companies were not able to quickly reorganize and all their work processes broke down. Well, apart from that, we'll see:
