18 Russian innovative startups become finalists of the Global Pilots program





The training of the first set of the Global Pilots program  , organized by Microsoft, EY and Startupbootcamp with the support of the investment holding Altergate and aimed at supporting Russian innovative startups in entering the international market, was completed. On May 28, the final event of the Global Pilots Demo Day program was held  , at which 18 start-ups-finalists gave pitch sessions for potential customers, investors, the media and the general public.

During the  program:



  • 9  startups have agreed on pilot projects or are in the final stages of their approval;
  • 12  startups are discussing commercial projects with large international companies;
  • ;

  • 12  companies became members of EY's initiative to work with priority startups and bring them to international markets.


The first enrollment training began on March 10 and lasted 12 weeks. On March 18, the program was completely moved online: all training was conducted on the Microsoft Teams platform. During this time, more than 90 experts from all over the world held training sessions, lectures and master classes on the following topics: specifics of working with corporate customers, building a scalable cloud IT infrastructure, building a partner ecosystem, working with investors, compliance with international legal standards (for example , GDPR) and much more. The main focus of the program was made to assist startups in organizing and implementing a pilot project with an international customer.



“For us, Global Pilots is a great opportunity to establish new contacts in foreign markets, since we have an international product that is easily scalable and applicable to any business - a recruitment automation tool. Our team immersed themselves in the program as much as possible and tried to use all the opportunities, knowledge and experience of experts, networking, which were provided to us by our colleagues. It was interesting and exciting. During our participation in the program, we have launched two new products on the American market and are working to improve them, ”says  Arik Hakhverdyan , CEO of VCV.
