In2Sql: Excel plugin that helps

For those who work with data in Excel, the problem of managing connections of external tables to relational sources often arises. Yes, Excel provides a complete toolbox here, but it does not provide a level of comfort and raise the bar for user knowledge.



In order to simplify the process of connecting to ODBC sources and increase the number of users of the repository, a product was created that, being a plug-in for Ms Excel, allows



1) Create excel tables with an ODBC connection, based on a custom SQL query



2) Based on (1), create pivot reports



3) Toolkit for dynamic data analysis



Keep-Only - (leave the row by filter)

Remove-Only - (remove row by filter)

Undo - (undo the last sql correction)

Redo - (undo undo)



4) SQL Query Designer with combining tables for columns with the same name



5) Excel workbook navigator



6) Updating data to DB from Excel



Currently the following ODBC sources are supported



1) MsSQl

2) Oracle

3) MySql

4) Postgres

5) Vertica









In the near future we plan to add support for the "cloud", first in line is ClickHouse
