Vyacheslav Ermolin - July 1, 2020
Results of launch programs for June 2020.
Launch statistics since the beginning of the year (June). Legend at the end of the text.
June 2020 has become the month of the United States and China. No one else was able (although they were going to) launch. No accidents. And not enough.
All June launches. Seven pieces.
June results.
The number of launches has decreased compared to May. Only seven. And only from two countries - the USA and China. The rest are still recovering after quarantine and the shutdown of spaceports and industry enterprises.
■ USA. Four launches. All "new private traders"! SpaceX and Rocket Lab. SpaceX strained and tried to fulfill its plan - two Starlinks a month. There were two of them, but one came from May. It didn't work out this time. Another launch of a navigation satellite commissioned by the US military. Rocket Lab has launched something small military.
■ China.Three launches. More ERS satellites. Plus a navigation satellite - completion of the construction of a regular constellation. The Chinese have fulfilled their promise to form a navigation system by the year 20! A rare case in modern cosmonautics (Europe also promised by the 20th).
■ Russia, Europe, India, Iran, and others ... did not launch anything ... brought back to life the cosmodromes and factories abandoned during the quarantine period.
The growth of launches and the increase in rates are carried over again to the future. We wait.
