Misconceptions in Knowledge Management

After writing the article β€œWe analyze the problems of GOST R 53894-2016β€œ Knowledge management. Terms and definitions »» I decided to sort out common problems and false facts in Knowledge Management. So it will be easier for me to understand when I am being deceived. To develop the topic of knowledge management on Habr, I decided to share my observations.



Terms



Since there are problems with definitions in knowledge management, I will immediately write the definitions that I will use:



" Signal is an energy exchange between physical objects and fields, which has a material nature."

" Data - registered signals, changes in objects and fields under the influence of signals."

β€œ Information - data (plural) and methods of processing them.” A term that combines any amount of data.

Nowadays knowledge management is full of problems, misunderstandings and uncertainties. There are practically no quality sources, even the standards contain a lot of errors. Knowledge management is more like a magic wand advertisement than a sophisticated tool.
