We are testing with interest the new online format and we invite everyone to participate for free. Throughout the day, our experts will share insights about Java, frameworks, testing, garbage collector, OSS and more. All sessions will be in English.
Here is the whole program.
Java and JetBrains
Those who have been working with Java for a long time know that this language is the inspiration for the JetBrains team. Our flagship IDE, IntelliJ IDEA, was written for and in Java. It quickly carved a niche among the leading development environments, winning numerous awards and loyal fans around the world.
Since 2000, JetBrains has released several IntelliJ-based IDEs for various programming languages. Many of our tools such as Space (a space for teamwork), YouTrack (a project management and bug tracking tool), TeamCity (our CI / CD server) and others are written in Java. Kotlin, the popular programming language developed by JetBrains, is Java compatible and also runs on top of the JVM.
What's the plan?
Throughout the day from 11:00 to 21:00 Moscow time, the best Java speakers will hold 10 hour information sessions.
